Apparently it improves race times by as much as 15%, and as seconds count in greyhound racing, much like Formula 1, it may prove a winner. The suit has been presented to the Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB) for approval for use at regulated tracks.

Nicknamed the ‘winalot’ suit, (must be the from famous grub some of them eat!) has already delivered impressive results. Maybe it’s the sleek, smooth design that reduces aerodynamic drag caused by the dogs’ fur that makes them ‘go faster’. Let’s hope they come in different colours so the commentators can differentiate one from the other.
