Poker Tells - how important are they?
Keeping an eye on your opponents is a must when playing live (offline) poker.
Is he scratching his arse; is she blinking her eyelashes; is he nervously twitching like an eye tick or hand scratch; is she shuffling her legs or blinking furiously; is he drinking more; these and many other things are tells in poker's live game. Make sure you watch all the time what others are doing. Don't take your eyes from the felt; watch every little unusual movement, and see how they react to the cards they have when they flip them over. Remember these things and this will help you become a beta poker player, like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Sam Farha and other pros!
